When it comes to sentimental moments, my sweet friend Liz is a master! She is an entrepreneurial mom like myself. She runs her successful Origami Owl business, which focuses on creating memory making necklaces with charms to represent milestones and special moments. I love the idea behind Origami Owl, and all their designs and options are so unique and quality. They could easily be passed down from generation to generation.
When Liz approached me, she had an idea to preserve her wedding dress for her little girls. As a mom of three girls, she hopes one day they may choose to wear her wedding dress on their own special day, but wanted to document it in case they don’t. Her sweet little girls are absolutely wonderful, and were excited to get dressed up. Even sweeter, Liz and her husband are celebrating ten years of marriage, which made this even more sentimental. She also found beautiful coordinating dresses at The Gap for her girls to wear alongside the “bride”. A wedding dress session may not be something you’ve ever thought of, but this is such an inspiring idea. I’ve also seen newborn sessions featuring mom’s wedding dress or veil, along with the parents’ wedding rings. You can memorialize lots of wedding items to preserve memories for your children…I’d love to help you dream up how to use these priceless props in your upcoming session!
