Our Holiday Shopping Gift Guide | Sycamore Senior and Family Photography

I know it’s pretty hard to believe that it’s nearly Christmas already, but it’s coming! As I am sifting through ideas for my family and friends, I always like to support and include local business and moms who are making a foray into amazing crafts and jewelry! Nope, I promise I’m not selling my photography in this post, just wanting to give some inspiration for your holiday shopping.

15135978_717904995026934_4216175130845760132_nUrban Grace – Local shop in Dekalb that has perfect little ideas to pretty up the home for holiday & all year. I just bought new metal art pieces for my picture wall in my office that I’m creating over the holiday break. I really love these little spoons with hand stamped words…they are the perfect little gift when paired with a mug and some cocoa mix (left).

ReNest on Facebook – Ashley is another Mom-prenuer friend of mine who makes the cutest personalized memory items  She has made me an adorable pink + gold fabric garland to use in my photo backdrops. You can find her handmade signs, gift items, and wall art here on her Facebook page, or here on her Etsy shop. Her ‘special dates’ wall prints would be perfect for any newlyweds or grandparents on your  list (see right hand image for her zip code and location print examples)15068342_1130866160299854_3045534434115326336_o

SIS Boutique – Always one of my favorite local places. Just bought some adorable winter- wear last Saturday on “Shop Local Saturday”. You might remember seeing some of their cozy little items on my blog previously, HERE.

HootLiz – This is another talented friend who is a Mom-prenuer with Origami Owl. Looking for cute jewelry with meaning? Living in Bears & Packer football land, Liz keeps this Northwest gal in  my Green + Blue #12 Seahawks status with her charms! You can customize her lockets with just about anything that you love, like birthstones and quotes; ideal for any mom, sister, or grandma in your life!

I hope our little gift guide has helped spur you to the end of your shopping list! We can’t wait to celebrate the holiday with our family and friends.
