If you’ve been alive for more than decade (which I think you probably have been, if you’re reading this!), you will know some of the toe-tapping numbers that will be showcased at this year’s Orchesis. The Orchesis is an annual dance performance that is produced by Sycamore High School, and this year, the event is celebrating a remarkable 10th anniversary. To mark this milestone, the theme is “A Decade of Dance”, and will be performed on March 16-18th, 2017 in the SHS auditorium.
The members of the Orchesis troupe have been hard at work, practicing every Wednesday since the beginning of September. Some of the songs they are dancing to include: Bad by Michael Jackson, Oops…I did it again! by Britney Spears, Fresh Prince of Bel-Aire by Will Smith, and songs from Legally Blonde. You may remember we talked about the amazing Orchesis program when we showcased Bella’s session on the blog (find it HERE).
I am booking my Orchesis Mini Event sessions from March 11-March 13th. As you can see below, it is the perfect way to document your hard work and creativity. You’ll love looking back on these memories in the years to come, and remember the special place that Orchesis held in your heart.
